Bread of Life

Shortly after WIHS began broadcasting in October 1969, the station's management decided to invite local evangelical pastors to participate in a new radio program WIHS would produce called Bread of Life. Each pastor would prepare seven, five-minute devotional messages for the program. Each message would air on WIHS over the course of a week.

Bread of Life continues today with a strong contingent of Bible believing pastors and church leaders from around the WIHS listening area who provide timely, inspiring and challenging devotional messages. Bread of Life airs three times a day, seven days a week at these times:

Weekdays: 12:25PM, 5:25PM & 11:25PM
Saturdays:  2:06AM, 12:10PM & 5:25PM
Sundays:    1:05AM, 7:15AM & 3:55PM

Please refer to the list below for the most recently featured pastors.

Listening to Bread of Life, or any other program on WIHS, should not be considered a substitute for going to church. If you are looking for a church to attend, please visit the Local Churches Page on the WIHS Web Site for a sampling of area churches. The list is not all-inclusive, but provides a starting place as you ask God to help you to find a church home.

"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching"
(Hebrews 10:25)
