Appeal for Asia Bibi's Release
Monday, November 13, 2017
You heard it broadcast on WIHS. You saw it listed on the WIHS Community Web Calendar. Several WIHS listeners as well as the WIHS Office Staff were beyond blessed to be a part of this powerful opportunity to stand in the gap for persecuted Christians!
On Monday, November 13, 2017, the Pakistani Ambassador to the United States, Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, spoke at the Mark Twain Museum in Hartford on the topic of Pakistani and U.S. relations.
Advocates for Religious Freedom assembled with posters on the sidewalk outside the Mark Twain Museum Parking entrance to rally for the release of Asia Bibi from a Pakistani prison on charges of blasphemy.
Asia Bibi is a mother of five children and has been in prison in Pakistan since 2009.
If you would like to get involved in the various ways to help our brothers and sisters in chains, contact Bill Brown of Christian Action Network of New England at CitizensinChrist@gmail.com. Bill has been interviewed on WIHS for his advocacy for the Persecuted Church many times over the years.
