Meet Ron Gangwer
Ron joined WIHS in the spring of 2001. He worked the overnight air shifts for ten years before moving to his present mid-days air position in 2011. He also serves as WIHS' Program Manager making sure all the programs and their promos are set for daily airing.
A testimony is defined as evidence testifying to something. I would like to take this opportunity to testify to the Lord's goodness and mercy. Psalm 100:5 states, "For the Lord is good; His mercy endureth to all generations." This verse sums up my life as the Lord has abundantly blessed me in it.
I was raised in a Christian home - the Lord is good. I accepted Christ as my Savior at an early age - the Lord is good. I attended Christian schools for a good portion of my life including Christian college – the Lord is good. I married a Godly woman – the Lord is good. Both of my daughters and all but one immediate family member knows the Lord as their personal Savior – the Lord is good. I have been blessed to work in Christian ministries all my working life – first at a Christian school and now here at WIHS – the Lord is good.
Am I deserving of any of this goodness? Not in the least! I have failed Him many times but His mercy – defined as compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one's power to punish or harm – endureth to all generations.
My hope and prayer for you is that you too can taste and see that THE LORD IS GOOD (Psalm 34:8) and experience His plenteous MERCY (Psalm 86:5)!
